Pierson Middle School students travel to the Poconos

Sixth graders from Sag Harbor’s Pierson Middle School embarked on an exciting field trip to the Pocono Mountains, filled with outdoor adventure and hands-on learning. With a packing list in hand, they came prepared for an early morning departure, ready for outdoor fun and exploration.
The trip included a guided rafting tour, where students worked together to navigate the river and its natural challenges. They also experienced the thrill of ziplining, soaring above treetops and taking in impressive views.
The group explored local trails by bike, discovering waterfalls, river views and paths that followed old railroad routes. Together, the students conquered new environments and made memories along the way.
