Pierson High School welcomes 44 new National Honor Society inductees

Sag Harbor’s Pierson High School recently held its annual National Honor Society induction ceremony, welcoming 44 new student members in recognition of their academic achievement and commitment to the organization’s four pillars: scholarship, service, leadership and character.
During the ceremony, members of the NHS executive board delivered remarks reflecting on the meaning of each pillar and the responsibility that comes with membership. Pierson High School Principal Brittany Carriero and Assistant Principal Michael Guinan presented certificates to the new inductees, celebrating their dedication and accomplishments.
The ceremony also featured a guest address from Jamie Mott, the school’s librarian, helping to round out a meaningful evening for Pierson’s community of students, families and friends.
