COMMUNITY SERVICE REQUIREMENTS

All Pierson High School students are required to complete 10 hours of community service in order to graduate.

These hours are an important opportunity to give back to the Sag Harbor community and make a positive impact beyond the walls of our school.

WHAT COUNTS AS COMMUNITY SERVICE?

Your service must meet all of the following requirements:

✅ 10 total hours of community service are required
✅ Service must benefit the Sag Harbor community
✅ You must be volunteering your time
✅ Service must take place outside of school hours
✅ You cannot be paid for your service
❌ Sports and clubs do NOT count toward the requirement

TRACK YOUR HOURS

All community service hours are tracked through Passport for Good.

Please make sure you are entering your hours and keeping your records up to date throughout the year. Don't wait until senior year to start! If you needs assistance logging in to passport for good please find Ms. Reilly to help.
